Cheryl hits the cover of Elle magazine!

We all know that Cheryl is one of my favourite people as well as a style inspiration and to add it in, magazines are one of my favourite things for keeping up with all things fashion and beauty and the odd celebrity gossip and lies. What girl can't say they like reading trashy magazines! I can't say that Elle is my favourite magazine ever and that I've picked up a copy often but the thing that eyed me towards it were the beautiful photographs that were taken for the magazine, especially one of the covers in which is above. Black and white is a big plus in my books as its my personal favourite in how to take pictures. The contouring that the make up artists have done is showing insanely on her cheeks in this picture, making her bone structure look amazing and nothing tops a smokey eye in black and white.

Review: Made You Look, Made You Stare

Yesterday I started my Christmas shopping and I was in Boots looking for my best friends presents and her birthday present which is 15 days before Christmas, aren't I an awesome friend getting her gifts for both?! Anyway, I was with my brother who obviously wasn't amused at looking at makeup so I headed straight to the 3 for 2 sale thing they have going on right now and saw this along with Gok Wan's strange and the Sex in the City stuff. As a fan of Fearne I had wanted to try this out too so I figured I'd pick one up for myself and my best friend (who doesn't know about this blog so I am safe to say). I looked at it in the store and was pretty impressed, sadly there was no tester one so I couldn't swatch any colours so it was a little bit of a win or lose product. Now that I have it home and opened (after great struggle) I am totally impressed with the pigmentation of each shadow.

It comes with ten pressed eyeshadows and two very awkwardly tiny brushes which I will be throwing out since I find no use for them. All but one contain a load of a shimmer so this is perfect for the Christmas parties coming up. The matte black in the bottom right corner is an awesome dupe for "Carbon" by Mac, pretty much the same pigmentation and a little easier to blend. So if you don't want to spend £12 or so on a MAC shadow, you can have this palette for £10 and get 9 extra shadow's with it!

I can't say my swatches are very good considering the weight of my camera but I tried my best. In this picture you have the bottom left shadow's from the picture above which are highly pigmented gold and silver shadows. The other two are the darker purple and red which look so much better in real life, much darker and better in colour.
You can find this palette in any boots store under their 3 for 2 Christmas offers for a grand total of £10. There is also a selection of lip ranges from nudes to dark reds, brushes and a compact mirror along with a large box which I can't say I know what's in. Remember when you're there to pick three things up as the cheapest is free!

Style Crush - Sophia Wardman (Belle Amie)

For the non Brits out there, Sophia Wardman is 1/4 of the X-Factor girl group "Belle Amie". Simon Cowell put them together after seeing them as solo singers at the auditions and they made it to the final shows, sadly being knocked out this weekend

skip to 1:51 for her audition.

I thought they mixed together well but were sadly given the wrong cheesy pop songs by Simon and I really hope they move on from the disappointment and make themselves known for outside of the X-Factor. Even though they were there for singing, I couldn't help but let my eyes wander to what they were wearing and I fell in love with Sophia's style immediately. It's quirky yet simple using staple items you can find in your closet and bringing them into the styles that are around today.

Ways to steal her style.

Watch out for an xfactor steal their style special post!

meh is the only way to describe this post.

So tomorrow is my first day back at school after around 5 years or near about. The reason that I've not been in school is because of my OCD and anxiety but I won't bore you all to death with the details. Today it sort of sunk in that I was returning for my 6th year of high school, the last year I could possibly get any more qualifications with my friends around me for support. I went shopping today with my best friend and got the rest of the school stuff I needed (pens, binder, bag, return trousers ect) and I seriously wanted to hide in one of the dressing rooms and make sure that people wouldn't find me. I really do not know why school makes me so nervous even if it is just for an hour a day and for a class I really enjoy. Wish me luck bloggers? meh!
